• Guru Padam Vibhushan late Pt. Birju Maharaj,  exponent  & Doyen of the Lucknow Gharana - learnt & participated few Kathak choreographies and workshops at Kalashram, New Delhi, India

• Late Guru  Pt. Munna Shukla, Kathak Maestro who hails from Lucknow gharana lineage of legendary Guru Lachchu Maharaj & Shambhu Maharaj - Under his esteemed guidance completed post Diploma & Diploma Hons. National Institute of Kathak Dance, New Delhi, India

• Guru  Rani Khannam, one of the foremost Kathak exponents and well-known for her Sufi contemporary and traditional style of dancing - completed a certificate course under her eminent teachings, at Bhartiya Kala Kendra, New Delhi, India

• Guru Pt. Raghunath Misra (Banaras Gharana)-  Acquired  basic  initial  kathak dance training at the age of six

Equal adoration of Hindustani Classical Vocal Music, she has been learning classical vocal music from various renowned gurus at different times of her journey of Kathak dance. she is profound in composing music suitable for kathak dance. she has explored her talent in keyboard, string and percussion instruments too.

Shalini has prepared her vocation both as a professional performer and a dance teacher through rich and multifaceted experiences in higher professional  & academic qualifications to execute  Performances, Lecture- Demonstrations, workshops, classroom instructions and choreography.
